Before the pubs, before the pints, there is the pitch. Gaelic games are Ireland’s soul sports, played by amateurs with the ferocity of professionals, watched by communities who would die for their parish colours. Your stag group will be taken to a real GAA club, handed a hurley and a sliotar, and put through the paces by a coach who has played at county level. You will learn to solo, to strike, to catch a ball travelling at a hundred miles per hour. You will get muddy. You will get bruised. You will earn your pint. This is the Ireland tourists never see, played on the same fields where legends were forged.
